This weekend, Charlotte Casiraghi and her husband, Dmitry Rassam, held a wedding ceremony for the second time. The ceremonial event was held at the Abbey of Saint-Marie-de-Pierdon, near Saint-Remy-de-Provence in southern France.
The couple became engaged in March 2018, in October of the same year their son Balthazar was born. Officially, Charlotte and Dmitry were married on June 1, 2019 in Monaco. On this day, the bride chose two dresses: the first from Saint Laurent, and the second from strapless from Chanel. Charlotte’s neck was adorned with a Cartier diamond necklace from the collection of her famous grandmother, Grace Kelly. For the wedding, Casiraghi chose a silk-chiffon off-the-shoulder wedding dress from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.
The event was attended by Uncle Charlotte, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and her mother, Princess Hannover, Caroline. Also at the wedding were the brides brothers Andreas and Pierre, her sister Alexandra de Hanover and the groom’s mother, actress and model Karol Bouquet.
Despite the fact that Charlotte does not have the title of princess, she is the 11th in succession to the throne, her son Balthazar became the 12th.
