The Swedish Fashion Council announced the abolition of Stockholm Fashion Week SS’20, which was to be held August 27-29. The general director of the council said that it was necessary to change the format of modern Fashion Week.
“Moving away from the traditional Fashion Week model was a difficult, but very deliberate decision,” says Jenny Rosen, general director of the Swedish Fashion Council. “We must leave the past alone and create a platform that will be relevant for the modern design industry.”
Fashion Week in Stockholm was held every two years. It showed the work of designers such as Per Götesson and Lazoschmidl. The Fabric Award competition. It is not clear that there has been a trend. More information will be provided later.
