Last weekend, the former First Lady of the United States visited the Essence Music Festival. Michelle Obama gave an interview to journalist Gail King and spoke about staying in the White House, her family and the role of men in her life.
“My father and my brother had the greatest influence on my self-esteem, because I grew up in a family with men who loved and respected me. The men in my life set the bar for what I expected from myself, ”said Michelle.
