Look for no added sugar, preservatives or colouring juices. Yes it slightly more  expensive, but they are the real deal and are excellent source of fluid, vitamins, minerals and your lovely antioxidants.

There is no nutritional value in soft drinks, Period!

Soft drinks are not good. It is as simple as that. The sugar content in a single can of soft drink is the equivalent of your normal daily sugar intake. There are no nutrient in soft drinks that the body needs. Do not kid yourself when opening those cans of fizzy drink.

Diet sodas are not much better. Granted they are low in calories and have no sugar, but the artificial sweeteners have many effects including stimulating hunger and developing carb cravings.
