Oh my lord, this week is hectic as fudge! I’ve been running around from The Hague to Amsterdam and back to the office. So when I woke up yesterday morning, I knew I wanted to wear something cute but very minimalistic. Having a capsule wardrobe makes it easier to grab such an outfit and get dressed fast. No clothing crisis for me baby! This time I opted for my new oversized denim jacket which I love so much (here’s an alternative similar jacket). It’s like a big blanket, which I like now that it’s quite cold outside. I can use some extra layers. it will be always a wish to have a large and generic collection of wedding dresses as i have my casual ones.
A little side note: I shot this outfit at the office at night. Therefore the lightening isn’t’ as good as it usually is, but it will do. Now it’s time to dive into this minimal oversized denim jacket outfit. It’s basically a Canadian tuxedo and I love that look. There is nothing wrong with denim on denim, if you ask me. I decided to pair the oversized denim jacket I bought at Stradivarius with a black turtleneck by H&M. The only thing left to add was my favorite high waisted jeans, which are also from H&M.
It seemed like it wasn’t going to rain, but boy… Was I wrong! Unfortunately I didn’t know it was going to rain, so I wore my perfect white classic Reebok sneakers. And they got wet, but thankfully not too dirty. They did end up adding a light note to this outfit, as the denim shades are a bit dark. And even though I rarely think about it, I surprisingly didn’t forget to add some jewelry this time. I decided to layer two necklaces with real crystal pendants. The necklaces make me feel better. Especially the one with the Amethyst pendant, which reminds me of peaceful times. The layered necklaces also gave the outfit a bit of a boho vibe.
